All-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and utility task vehicles (UTVs or side-by-sides) are ubiquitous throughout agriculture these days. ATVs are typically designed for use by one person, though two-person models are available. Meanwhile, UTVs are two- or four-person, motorized off-road vehicles that typically offer wider and longer stances than ATVs.

ATVs, UTVs and crossover utility vehicles are fixtures on most cattle operations today. In fact, research indicates that 80% of BEEF readers have at least one of these units on their operation for everyday use, whether it’s work or play.
