Much of cattle country has been the recipient of a winter storm or two over the past few weeks. Overall, it’s been welcome moisture, despite the challenges it presents with calving and other outdoor tasks. Still very dry in west central SD. not likely enought to get native grass started without significantly more very soon!
Still way behind on soil moisture for hay, all the hay is gone from this area, all depends on if we can make hay and not have to feed in July like last year.

se nebraska, very little rain, some snow. Wind has blown during storms so all in road ditches. Feilds mostly dry.
we had 1.75''' on 3/12/13 in middle ttennessee. very good moisture so far this year.
While Amanda's part of South Dakota has seen moisture the western part has not.
Rainfall below normal at about 4.5 inches in southern Salinas Valley. Praying for more rain...

Very dry in Northeast Texas !! newly planted clover was coming up , however lack of rain(moisture)it is beginning to yellow! Praying for rain daily......
We depend heavily on mountain snow pack for our irrigation needs. It is at 80% of normal and supposed to get a foot of snow in the mountains tonight. Last year we were near normal through February and quit. We hope to keep getting some precip. along as most grass and hay reserves are limited.

Top soil is helped but " 30 in powder dry.
Went from 4" below avg May through the First of August to 3" above in February. Sure did help.
