About half of these photos are of sterile grassland of which we should be ashamed. Grassland should be vibrant plant communities, full of life instead of carpetlike plats of green.

Pasture is a crop harvested by cattle. To get my calves to grow fast, I need to provide them with the best mix of grasses and legumes. "Carpetlike plats of green" are full of life...my intensively managed pastures are full of worms and dung beetles and the plants that I need to grow beef. Green is Good!
