Despite several attempts, using various strategies, my computer only shows a number for #1. Counting backwards, I'm voting for what I think is #12, titled "A Job Well Done." Wonderful composition--gallery quality work.

#2 is far and away the best photo. I also like #15, but is static. Involving the viewer in the action takes talent, luck or both.

Every knows that the ATV is the #1 workhorse on a ranch, and my horse does more work than my dog.
But our corrals in the summer range look like those in #1, and our dogs both exhibit the joy, and give the joy as those in #1.

#2 clearly shows this young Border Collie doing what he does best even at an early age. Just look at all those cattle behind him!!

Kelly Brown's photo shows detail and depth. Anyone that has ever owned a Border Collie will appreciate their "do anything for you" personality! Love this photo! My vote hands down.

I saw a demonstration of working cow dogs at the Prescott Equifest last weekend. What amazing helpers they are! The one dog and rider had to put 5 cows through a circular fence that had four escape holes in it. Amazing!!! My hat's off to the workhorses of the ranch herding dogs!
