The first annual Southwest Beef Symposium is Dec. 14-15 at the Odessa County Coliseum in Odessa, TX. Hosted by New Mexico State and Texas A&M universities, the program is tailored to Southwest producers and includes presentations on range management, nutrition, cattle marketing and animal ID.

Fertility-associated antigen (FAA) technology for evaluating bull fertility also will be demonstrated, followed by cattle ID technology demonstrations by company representatives.
