Hot Hamburger Dip

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1-16oz jar salsa (heat level is your preference---I like medium)
  • 1.5 lb Velveeta
  • Tortilla chips

Directions:

Brown hamburger in frying pan. Place browned hamburger, entire jar of salsa, and Velveeta (cut into 1" x 1" chunks) into a slow-cooker. Cook on low for four to five hours (or until cheese is melted) stirring every 30 minutes. Serve hot with your favorite tortilla chip!

Although "Finals week" is not considered a holiday it is a rather significant week for anyone going to college. This dip is the perfect snack to put in the slow-cooker and have ready whether you are hosting a study session or having one last get-together before leaving for the summer!
