At South Dakota State University, the students received a month long Christmas break for hard work and good grades. :) Yes, it was quite a nice vacation, catching up with friends, attending a wedding, celebrating the holidays, going to a cattle show, and oh yeah...helping with chores?
Despite the bitter cold and large amounts of snow, there is nothing better than seeing a group of bulls bellied up to the feedbunks to eat. Everything is gaining well, nothing is sick and they are just ready and waiting to be sold and start dreaming of green pastures and females.
