The American Red Angus (ARA) magazine is now available globally in its entirety at RedAngus.org. This interactive format allows viewers to read the entire magazine online with page-flip technology.
Unlike the printed version, however, new features will greatly increase communication. “One of the most outstanding features is that the online magazine allows readers to instantly communicate with staff and advertisers via e-mail or their website,” said Kevin LeMaster, RAAA advertising/art director.
All websites and e-mail addresses will hotlink, allowing viewers fast and easy communication with staff and advertisers.
Additional features include navigation directions for screen viewing, electronic page flipping and instant viewing of the editorial list including links to that issue’s stories. Viewers can also access an advertiser’s index with links to advertisers’ pages in the magazine.
“The world expects information at its fingertips and this is one way we can improve and expedite communication between our staff, advertisers and readers,” said Greg Comstock, executive secretary of the Red Angus Association of America (RAAA).
The ARA – the official publication of the RAAA – is mailed to nearly 10,000 commercial beef producers and Red Angus breeders. Each issue will go live around the 20th of the month when the printed version is mailed.
