The U.S. Senate passed the U.S.-Oman Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act,

The U.S. Senate passed the U.S.-Oman Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act, which will reduce 87% of Oman's tariff lines to zero for ag products on the first day of the agreement. The remaining tariffs will be phased out over 10 years. The legislation now goes to President Bush for his signature.
