Cattle Loose From Central SD Ranch
Winter storm breaks loose in South Dakota.
This happens every now and then when a blizzard hits: Cattle get loose and start wandering.
Authorities say more than 250 head of Black Angus cows took off from the M and R Ranch near Agar during Sunday's blizzard and are headed toward the Onida area. Kris Rausch says the cows broke through a fence west of Agar and are moving south-southwest in groups of 10-20.
Rausch says crews in pickup trucks are trying to find the livestock. She says some have been spotted east and west of Highway 83, north and northwest of Onida.
