New app for cattle feed samples is now available for download on smartphones and tablets.
Rock River Laboratory, Inc. introduces FeedScan, a smart phone and tablet application for electronic sample submission. The new tool provides a convenient means to submit feed, forage, water, and fecal samples directly to Rock River Laboratory for analysis.
“FeedScan simplifies the process of submitting samples, making it more convenient for our customers, while still offering complete access to the top-notch customer service they've come to expect from our laboratory,” says Zac Meyer, director of operations for Rock River Laboratory.
The first of its kind, the free FeedScan app features two options for sample submission - through bar code scan or via the patent-pending sample code generation function, to identify the sample through the analysis process. All of Rock River Laboratory’s feed, forage, water, and fecal analysis offerings are available for samples submitted via FeedScan. The app also offers a quick link to the Rock River Laboratory website for users to easily access their laboratory results at their fingertips. FeedScan’s capability to save sample submissions while offline and submit while online, combined with submission confirmation, provides customers a fail-safe means to confidently submit samples via the app.
“Rock River Laboratory is dedicated to researching and employing new tools and processes to offer our customers solutions,” says John Goeser, director of nutritional research and innovation for Rock River Laboratory. “The FeedScan application is another instrument to help us fulfill that commitment.”
