Expanded PVP program
Micro Beef Technologies expands its current USDA-approved, process-verified program (PVP) to Micro PVP. The expansion allows ranches, markets and feedyards to more easily age-verify cattle for export markets, as well as benefit from the new “Born in USA” and “Born and Raised in USA” claims.
In addition to onsite audits, ranchers can elect to submit calving records and participate in phone audits to verify age records, or tag animals at a secondary location such as a livestock market or feedyard. For feedyards, backgrounders and markets, Micro PVP has been modified to allow cattle from other USDA-approved PVP and QSA programs to be age-verified upon arrival and eligible for export programs. Feedyards can accept cattle from virtually any ranch that's maintained appropriate calving records.
