Presentations running the gamut from beef stockercattle economics to cattle health and environmental impact make up the fare forKansas State University’s(KSU) Beef Stocker Field Day on Sept. 26.
The program begins with9:30 a.m. registration, followed by theprogram at 10:15 a.m. on the grounds of the KSUBeef Stocker Unit located on West Marlatt Ave. onManhattan's west side.The program features industry and university speakers from three states - Nebraska, Oklahoma and Kansas, in addition to a producer panel discussion on Flint Hills stocking rates. Registration is $25 if paid by Sept. 15, or $35 at the door.
