Here is a list of the top 10 blog posts of 2010:
Yesterday, I asked all of you to share your resolutions, and I randomly selected two winners to receive cowboy-themed notecard sets. Ryan Goodman and Rebecca Tokach are the first winners of BEEF Daily prizes in 2011. Congratulations to you both.
Goodman's resolution is: "My resolutions for 2011 include working on the stack of books on my shelf and getting more involved in the cattle community."
Tokach's goal is: "My resolution includes running a half marathon for Team Beef!"
Great ideas! Both resolutions offer something to shoot for. I promised to share my resolutions for 2011, as well. My goals are to meet as many readers this year as I possibly can. I hope to visit with many of you at the 2011 Cattle Industry Convention this February in Denver, CO, in addition to other events throughout the year. I would also like to compete in more races. As many of you know, I have competed in my annual half-marathon in Brookings, SD the past couple of years, and my new benchmark will be to run in a few more competitions as time allows. Of course, I will be wearing the Team ZIP jersey while I do it! I would like to improve my photography skills and take more photos of the people and cattle that I love, and I also plan to save up and buy some replacement heifers from my dad this fall.
Finally, I will work hard to encourage more agriculture and food enthusiasts to become participants in this BEEF Daily community. Last year, we had more than 375,000 visitors to this blog, and I hope to break a half-million in 2011. Can we do it? Join the conversation and make it happen! Thanks again for your fellowship in 2010. Here's to another great year in the cattle business!
