Submit your best photo of your horse, four-wheeler, pickup truck, tractor or any other vehicle or animal that helps you get the job done on your ranch.
We have a 1974 Chevy pickup that we use during calving season to weigh and tag calves. The old and rusty truck has no seat belts, registration papers or side mirrors, but it’s trusty and reliable to drive through the pasture each spring. We also have a couple of four-wheelers we use to run errands and check pastures. These workhorses help get the job done on our cattle ranch, and today, I’m launching a new photo contest celebrating the animals and vehicles that assist cowboys every day.
Sponsored by Farm Boy Authentic Brand, I’m calling for your best photos of horses, cowdogs, four-wheelers, trucks, tractors or anything else you rely on to do your daily chores on the ranch.
Farm Boy and Farm Girl brands were established in 1994 by Midwest farm boys, Dan Adamson and Brian Goldenman, who wanted to capture the heartfelt pride and meaningful connections of farming and rural life.
“We tip our caps to hard work, early mornings, late nights, tradition and being part of a timeless community. It’s in our blood, too. With spirited design, and trendy merchandise that’s fresh and unexpected, we invite you to join in the fun and see what happens as Old McDonald gets fashionable,” they say.
Send me your best photo (one entry/person please) to firstname.lastname@example.org by Tuesday, Sept. 18. Be sure to include a description of your photo, along with your name and mailing address. Finalists will be announced Sept. 19, with voting for our champions to go through Sept. 26. Winners will be announced on Sept. 27.
Champion and reserve photographers will receive a $100 Farm Boy Authentic Brand gift certificate, and Farm Boy hats will be awarded to three lucky voters.
