Last Day To Enter To Win Children's Book, "Levi's Lost Calf!"

At BEEF Daily, we are celebrating the end of summer and the beginning of fall. For many that means state fairs, steaks on the grill, ranch roundup and fall harvest. It means canning tomatoes, jarring pickles and carving pumpkins. It means weaning calves, preg-checking cows and enjoying cool, crisp evenings. It's about bringing out the Carhartt jackets and stocking caps. Most of all, autumn on the ranch is for making family memories. Today is the last day to enter the photography contest, which brings the theme of fall together.

Contest details: Send your best photograph of kids, cattle and the joys of fall to me at amanda.nolz@penton.com by today, Tuesday, Sept. 20, to be entered to win. Ten finalists will be selected and announced on Thursday, and readers will be asked to vote for their favorite image.

Prize details: Two champion photographers and three randomly selected readers will be awarded a copy of my new children's book, "Levi's Lost Calf," which debuted in July.
