The Cattlemen’s Beef Board comprises cattle producers and importers who direct the national Beef Checkoff Program, with oversight form USDA. The American National CattleWomen, Inc. (ANCW) are a sub-contractor for the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA). NCBA is a contractor of Checkoff dollars used for beef promotion and research efforts on behalf of the Beef Board. The National Beef Ambassador Program (NBAP) is a national, competitive youth public speaking program for the beef industry. NBAP promotes the beef industry and development of leadership skills in youth. The program spotlights the positive impact the cattle industry has on our economy and families. Individuals compete on their state level, the winners come to the national competition to vie for cash, scholarships and an opportunity to travel across the nation promoting beef and the beef industry.
