If you won't be in attendance today, don't worry; I will be providing summations of each presentation on the blog in the upcoming weeks, so stay tuned.
Later on this evening, Jamie May, senior associate editor for BEEF magazine, will be teaming up with me at the NCBA Trade Show "Rocky Mountain Winter Fest" Welcome Reception. The reception is from 5-8 p.m., and we will be interviewing cattle ranchers from across the country to answer the question, "What does animal welfare mean to you?"
As dedicated cattlemen, we are committed to being stewards of the land and caregivers to our animals, and that's a commitment we take very seriously. Our goal is to put together a comprehensive, relatable video to share with our consumers about what animal care and welfare means to us. It's a great step toward telling our story, and we hope you'll swing by our booth and add your insights. And, if you're at home working on the ranch, please contribute your thoughts and ideas in the comments section below. I think this will be a really great video, and we want all of you to get involved. Thanks in advance for your participation.
For those of you in Denver, we hope to see you at Cattlemen’s College® and the trade show reception! Happy Trails!
By the way, Oprah and her 378 staffers have started a one-week vegan challenge, and they talked about it on yesterday's show. Did you catch the segment. What are your thoughts?
