I am amazed how the challenger in this election has looked like a President and the Incumbent has looked like a challenger

Obama is such a courageous leader. Regarding Hurricane Sandy, he says when an "American is in need… we leave nobody behind." What happened with the Americans he betrayed in Lybia and left to fight and die for seven hours? When Obama called the SEALs, those boys got Osama bin Laden. When the SEALS called Obama, they got denied by Obama. What a worthless leader Obama is.

Be careful what you ask for-you just might get it!!! voters need to study Romney-Ryan 's background and "business activities" much closer. They are not what they tell everyone they are. Romney made his millions from the life's blood of other people and he does not give a "hoot" for anyone else. You cannot believe anything he says.

We can ill afford four more years of an Obama administration!! I am also 62 years young, and this is certainly the most important election in my lifetime! My hope is the "silent majority " will rise up and go to the polls on election day. Anyone with any reasonable observation can see that we have lost more freedom in the last four years than in many previous administrations. If we are not already a socialist nation, we are soon to be one. What an unpleasant scenario!!! Can we not learn from Europe's mistakes? For the record, I am neither R or D.

My family voted democrat almost all my life. The parties are not, and do not stand for what they did 20 years ago. I vote for the person , not the party. Anyone with common sense that truly thinks Obama has this countries best interest in mind after all he has done must be going insane. They asked the question... Are you better off than you were 4 years ago? NO ONE is better off than 4 years ago because we are 5 trillion dollars closer to this country going bankrupt.

Obama in first election said there's nothing wrong with $7.00 per gallon of gas and he's basically going to destroy the coal industry. Wow, remember when Carter said 20+ % interest will be good for the country -- that "killed" a lot of businesses

I've been voting in presidential elections since 1960 and over the years have voted for both republicans and democrats. How any thinking/informed voter who cares about the future of the country can support Obama is remarkable. I guess maybe the key here is "thinking/informed"!

History in process of repeating. Get ready for another depression if Romney wins. Windfall for rich and powerful. Big farmers. Wealthy CEOs and Tycones. Soup lines.

Look at the global leaders who are supporting Obama---Egypt, Russia, and Venezuela. Now look at those countries. Knowing the lifestyles in those countries with a dictator why do you suppose they support Obama? They are hoping that
America will become like them and it very well would with Obama. He has a secret agenda that most people know nothing about and all of it will be to our detriment. America: Do some research before next Tues. Wake up.
We need America restored to the way we've known it all these years. People need to go back to following God and His Word. That's the only reason this country has prospered as it has. In God We Trust.

Very simple, if you want this country to be a Christian based society and have hopes of one that operates with a balanced budget there is only one way to vote !

Interesting opinions voiced by the majority of respondents supporting Obama. Evidently a weak argument justifies name calling and insults. The fact of the matter is he has exhibited Zero leadership in the matter of dealing across the aisle to get anything accomplished. Instead he has allowed Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi free rein and about the only thing accomplished was an extremely unpopular health care program completely devoid of any Republicans input or votes on the final product.
I know that Mitt Romney has had to work with both parties when he was Governor and will bring those experiences with him as President.
The previous 4 years has demonstrated the falousy of electing sometime one with zero experience in private sector work and zero experience in leadership of any kind.

Interesting that most reasons touted for voting for one or the other are about agricultural self-interest. Nothing here on Benghazi or "Fast and Furious", on obfuscation and lies from this administration that cause Watergate to look like really small potatoes.
It was obvious, (to anyone who cared to look and listen), who Obama is, four years ago. Anyone who can't see or admit that now is deaf, dumb, blind, and stupid.... and only has an interest in the further diminishment and demise of this great country.

First of all gentlepersons, the GOP platform says that they will turn the Department of Agriculture into a food stamp and for-profit crop insurance agency. Say goodbye to the unbiased research, and hello to corporate propaganda
if Romney wins.

The regulations proposed by the current administration: GIPSA, dust, youth labor; etc., are plenty enough reason to demand a change in leadership.

I don't believe any red blooded American could vote for entitlement progams Demos today are not what they were 20 yrs ago, there are those in need and those who's needs are to get up and go to work.

An Independents prediction: Obama wins, unless hurricane Sandy won't let East Coast vote. The house will be evenly split, and the Senate remains Democratic.

Anonymous

Get govt out! And guess what... that means no farm bill. If you need the farm bill, you're not really a farmer. And CRP... to be paid NOT to produce??? What has this country come to?

If the wing-nut Re-Pubs were not the the Party of No, Obama would not have had to resort to Executive Orders.

The scared Re-Pubs run on hate radio and fear. They want to control everything yet they say they are for no governmental controls....as long as you think exactly like them!! Greedy and selfish are apt descriptions of them and of Romney. For all of you who tout your Christianity, take a look at what Romney comes from; it's just plain weird.

And, no farm bill because of the tea bags and Re-Pubs that only say "no". Get over it.

We knew very little about Obama before the 2008 election. We know now that he has issued 923 Executive Orders in the last 40 months. All other Presidents combined before him issued a total of 121. Not surprising he has appointed "Czars" to be in charge of everything. "Google" it and check it out for yourself. It will scare you to death!

How could someone who takes the time to inform themselfs on livestock issues by reading Beef, be so missinformed on political issues. When I voted this survey 19 had voted for Obama, 5 were undecided and 1 vote for other. Our industry is truely screwed if out of 116 votes that many were unsure or willing to give all they worked for to big government. Sad very sad.

I'm also 62 and have followed presidential politics since I was 18. I believe this is the most important presidential election in our lifetime. If we want to have the same America we've known in the past, Free, Proud, Self-Reliant and under God, we best go to the polls on November 6 and vote Romney-Ryan.
