This country is definitely going to hit a depression not a recession. Its inevitable!! Just how can it not.. We throw make believe money into the economy, jobs are a joke, house market shot, college kids with sick masters degrees are working at MCdonalds in terrible debt, the rich are richer than ever, the poor are poorer than ever, food stamps are a record high in history, forget about gas and fuel, taxes are none stop and rising... Come-on there's that uncertainty lingering in the air. I wake up every morning concerned about my kids future .. its scary! Especially with this president holding our fate in his hands.. very scary!!

Is there any doubt we are headed for a colossal collapse?? I hate to be the bearer of bad news but just how long can we continue to infuse 85 BILLION dollars per month in fictional currency?? Obama has choices at his disposal that are for the greater good of the USA but turns a blind eye. Granted both parties are playing a dangerous game of finger pointing but wasn't he elected to be the Leader!! Our leader is elected to be our guiding light, our inspiration and above all our protector! What has happend to this once great country? Gloom and doom is not my normal focus but what else do you see happening....hmmmm?. Un-substainable continuing debt, Un-substainable entitlements, Un-substainable taxation, Un-sustainable Health care, Un-substainable foreign threats, Un-substainable job losses, Un-substainable student loan defaults, and soon to be Un-substainable patience!! We have to demand guidance from our elected officials as well as accountability for their actions or non-actions. We are headed down the wrong path blindly. Just remember the great Pharos ruled on this Earth for 2,807 years before their demise. Our heart felt beloved UNITED STATES has only been here a mere 231 years. Makes you wonder!!!!!!

The United States could be headed toward another recession if the government does not cut down on the wasteful spending, and the solution to this is not creating new taxes. The only thing new taxes will do is hurt businesses and families that are already hurting financially.

Our government is printing and infusing a reported $85 billion each month into our economy. Furthermore, we are being totally deceived about the current rate of inflation because of constantly changing formulas for calculating the CPI. Figures don't lie, but liars figure?? Also, our "out of control" debt continues to grow at an unprecendented rate. Not to mention Europe's escalating financial crises. Also, why is our current administration making every effort to regulate small businesses out of business?? For these and many other reasons, I believe we (the American people) are in serious trouble. I resent paying taxes to finance a government trying to destroy the fabric of this once great nation!!!! What is the purpose of this apparent plan to anhiliate America?? My hope is the "Silent Majority" will rise soon! I admit these comments are not positive; however, there are too many things happening that are not beneficial to us and should not be ignored!

With our economy being propped up with borrowed money, you bet we are headed for another recession. The bubble is ready to burst.

When the world refuses to accept the U.S.dollar as payment due to our rapidly escalating debt then we will suffer hyper inflation as has other countries that have tried to spur their economy by massive debt spending

As we the people realize our government is not being truthfull we become more like the dictator countries where their government is feared more than external agression. Recession never left, except in their figures.

We are part of a world economy- and so is our debt. As the world markets go, we go also. The world economy is increasingly relying on other countries to pay their debts. Its only a matter of time before we get called out on payment. This country is not an a sustainable course.

No I do not believe we are headed for another recession. People living within their means. The memory of living beyond your means and borrowing to get there are just too strong. People and companies are not willing to stick their neck out. Collectively, this will build a healthy economy but not a booming one.

On the other hand, low and responsible demand for goods has replaced fear of losing ones job.

This foundation should set the economy on a slow but positive plane of progress.

I do not see a recession happening in 2013. Things seem to be looking better. Slowly but surely.

With all the new regulations and taxes on business from health care to energy, I cannot see anyway it can be avoided.
