Pfizer's SelectVAC^® preconditioning program has been named the preferred health program for calves sold through Superior Livestock Auction. Calves meeting SelectVAC health and management protocols and sold through Superior Livestock video auctions will have the designations of SelectVAC34, SelectVAC34+, SelectVAC45 or SelectVACPrecon. These new programs have protocols that follow the current PreVAC, WeanVAC^® and StockerVac^® programs from Pfizer, a news release says.

More than 2.5 million calves have been enrolled in the SelectVAC program since it was initiated 12 years ago. Superior Livestock Auction markets 1.5 million head of cattle annually.
