Niman Ranch Moves Beef Production

In an effort to continually drive its core principles of sustainable agriculture and humane animal care to the highest possible standards, Niman Ranch has moved its beef processing plant from JBS Swift in Hyrum, Utah to XL FourStar in Omaha, NE.

This move will mean that 85% of all Niman Ranch cattle will travel 50% (or more) fewer miles. This effort reduces Niman Ranch’s overall carbon emissions and has a positive impact on the handling of the animals by lessening the amount of time they spend in transportation.

XL FourStar is a family operated facility, with an additional location in Nampa, ID.
