Yellow Tail Turns Tail on HSUS - Donation to HSUS Declared a Mistake

Yellow Tail, an Australian based winemaker received a lot of press over their $100,000 donation to the HSUS. That may have been their intent from the beginning in their efforts to grow their brand here in the U.S. but the type of press the winemaker recieved was anything but positive.

Angered people began shouting for a boycott, sending hate mail and depicting themselves dumping out Yellow Tail wine and urging others to do the same.

Yellow Tail, run by the Casella family, is a 100% family owned business that has stated how important animal welfare is to them. When they were informed of HSUS's lobbying interests, Yellow Tail has stated that they will be looking elsewhere when they wish to make donations to celebrate and save animals in the future.
