Event officially announces plans for rodeo and livestock show
The Houston Rodeo & Livestock Show 2010 has been announced. The star studded event will take place March 2, 2010 until March 21, 2010. There will be 22 celebrities at the event according to the press release issued.
Those announced to be attending are: Kenny Chesney, Jonas Brothers, Brad Paisley, Darius Rucker, Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, Toby Keith, Rascall Flats, Dierks Bentley, Alan Jackson and Mary J. Blige. One of the features is a special appearance by the Black Eyed Peas as well as Brooks and Dunn in their last rodeo tour.
The show is done for charity and has been running since 1932. Proceeds have raised over $250 million which has been given to many benefactors including scholarships, endowments as well as other education and youth programs.
