Sounds funny but true - Managing the feedyard is easier compared to managing employees.

This is true because of the risk in handling employees. See, for example - When my previous employer started tracking all employee activities, we felt its against the employee freedom and started opposing it, some even quit the organization because of that. But, when we see it in the employer point of view, we do understand the need in tracking all activities.

Now, I track all the freelancers who work for me, with no trouble at all. Since the risk of procrastination and under-performance is more in free lancing and work from home kinda jobs, I track all my employees time, project and activities and I understand its the best thing to do. This makes me feel good, as I know what I am paying for.

I use Replicon employee time tracking software for tracking my employee time and attendance and couple of other tools for tracking projects, expense and bills.
