Two beef checkoff-funded projects recently were cited as tops in the nation in national competition.

The Beefmobile (www.beefmobile.com), a traveling beef-promotion exhibit, was named by the National Agri-Marketing Association as the top producer-funded public relations program in the U.S. The National Livestock Producers Association conducts the Beefmobile program (shown at right) on behalf of America's beef producers and the Cattlemen's Beef Board.

Meanwhile, the checkoff-funded “Beef Training Camp Manual” won the International Association of Culinary Professionals' Award of Excellence. The manual, used by retailers to educate meat-case employees about all aspects of beef, was coordinated by the National Cattlemen's Beef Association.
