Corrections
The write-up for “Breeds of Cattle, 2nd Edition” that appeared in BEEF September issue (page 6) inadvertently omitted Bob Hough as among the contributors to the revised, updated and expanded version of Herman Purdy's classic 1987 volume.
A total of 45 breeds are chronicled via 400 high-quality images on more than 400 pages in the beautiful coffee-table volume. Association-authorized documentation includes the history, origin and phenotype of each breed, as well as current statistics.
