The American Meat Institute (AMI) has a resource page on the proposed Grain Inspection Packers and Stockyards Administration (GIPSA) rule posted on its website. The aim is to inform members, policy makers and media about the proposed rule that seeks to change how livestock are procured and marketed in the U.S.

The page includes three new fact sheets that cover key facts about the proposed rule, offer case studies in the potential consequences of the proposed rule, and discuss past court rulings on livestock-market completion.

To access the fact sheets, go to www.meatami.com and click on “GIPSA Rule” in the “Hot Topic” box on the opening page.
