Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) says she'll introduce legislation to ban the use of carbon monoxide (CO) in the packaging of meat. Melvin Hunt, Kansas State University, says the "effort to discredit the science that went into it -- and efforts to discredit the federal agency that reviewed it three times -- is scientifically inaccurate and unfortunate."
