Canada feed regs
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency announced that bovine specified risk material (SRM) will be banned from all animal feed, pet food and fertilizer, effective last month.
Under the enhanced food ban, producers can no longer feed any animal products containing SRM to livestock, and packing plants must properly identify SRM to ensure it's removed from the feed system.
