Bill introduced to ban USDA quality grades on imports
Rep. Stephanie Herseth (D-SD) introduced H.R. 4689 to prohibit use of USDA quality grades on imported beef and lamb. Pork would be exempt. Sen. Tim Johnson (D-SD) has introduced a similar bill in the Senate.
