Schaumburg, IL, Oct. 7, 2008—Central Life Sciences, whose founders invented insect growth regulator (IGR) technology more than 30 years ago, announced that effective immediately, Kevin Rewerts will become Director of Sales for the company’s Premise Pest Control division.
In this role, Rewerts will be responsible for the coordination of sales activities across various channels of trade with the goal of increasing sales and market share. He will provide leadership and direction to contract sales representatives and merchandisers, and supply marketplace planning and account management direction. Rewerts will also be responsible for forecasting and the development of promotional opportunities.

Rewerts has had a long and successful history with Central Life Sciences, beginning in 2001 as a national sales manager for Zodiac® and Pre-Strike® consumer brands. He was then named Director of Sales for the Consumer Products Division of Wellmark International. Most recently, capitalizing on the synergies between Farnam and Wellmark, Rewerts assisted the Equine group as Director of Sales for the hardware, lawn, and garden channels of the newly organized Central Life Sciences business unit.
Prior to joining Central Life Sciences, Rewerts was a regional sales manager for Fellowes Manufacturing Company, increasing regional sales and boosting distribution of hardware, grocery, drug and Internet sales into 6,500 new retail establishments, including Sears, Ace Hardware, and Lowe’s. Prior to Fellowes, Rewerts worked at Dominick’s Finer Foods as a senior category manager and buyer and as a senior account manager at Kraft Foods.
Rewerts received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Loyola University of Chicago.
