Last week, I wrote about a cattle show I attended with my family. While I was there, I caught up with a rising star in the beef industry, Kelsey Repenning, daughter of Steve and Lori Repenning of Black Top Farms. Kelsey is actively involved in 4-H, FFA and raising beef cattle, and I think she will be one to watch down the road. Do you know a young person with a positive story? Repenning is a sophomore at Mitchell High School, and she keeps busy in her many activities, but her one true passion is the beef cattle industry.
