Win $125 Boots From Roper Apparel!

RSS

We’ve extended the deadline for our May Beef Month Recipe Contest. Part one features ground beef. Send your best recipe with photo to beefnews@hotmail.com by May 12 to be entered to win $125 gift certificate for boots, courtesy of Roper Apparel!

On May 1, we kicked off Beef Month with a new recipe contest, sponsored by Roper Apparel. Last week, we called for ground beef recipes, and readers responded by sending in mouth-watering creations featuring America’s favorite protein.

Not only are we compiling a fantastic collection of recipes focused on beef and created by America’s cattlemen and women, but the prizes for this contest are sweet, too!

For the best ground beef recipe and photo, Roper Apparel is giving away a $125 gift certificate to be used on a pair of boots! Can you smell the new leather? Check out their selection of boots and clothes here.

We are extending the deadline for ground beef recipes until Saturday, May 12, so email me a recipe with corresponding photo at beefnews@hotmail.com.

We will announce our winner on Monday, May 14, and kick off another recipe contest for the remaining weeks of May. The new theme will be summer grilling, so start brainstorming your favorite tri-tip, ribeye, kabobs or short ribs recipes to send my way. The sky is the limit. So, fire up the grill and get cooking!

In the meantime, $125 could be yours, so send your ground beef recipes and photos my way! Check out our reader-submitted recipes here. As you can see, many of them were a perfect fit for Cinco de Mayo celebrations over the weekend. Did you celebrate the holiday with a festive beef feast?
