NEW Contest: Name This Photo And Win $50 Roper Gift Certificate!

RSS

Create a caption for this photo by Lauren Chase and be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from Roper Apparel.

Two weeks ago, I launched a series of contests that will lead us up to the holidays. As promised, every couple of weeks, we will offer you a chance to win fun prizes! Once again, I’m hosting a photo caption contest, and the winner will take home a $50 gift certificate from Roper Apparel!

This photo by Lauren Chase, author of a photo essay book of Montana ranching entitled “Big Sky Boots,” needs a humorous title or caption. If this puppy doesn’t melt your heart, I don’t know what will. In fact, I think I’m going to ask Santa for a puppy just like this one in my stocking this year!

To be eligible to win the $50 Roper gift certificate, we are calling for your best ideas! Leave your best caption or title for this photo in the comments section below to be entered to win. Entries will be accepted until noon on Wednesday, and our winner will be announced on Thursday, Nov. 1. Good luck!

Name this photo!

Be sure to mark your calendars to participate in these upcoming BEEF Daily contests, as well, including:

Nov. 5: Funny Caption Contest; winner gets a $125 Roper Boots Gift Certificate.

Nov. 19: Funny Caption Contest; winner gets a copy of “Big Sky Boots: Working Seasons Of A Montana Cowboy,” a beautiful coffee-table photo book by Lauren Chase ($75 value).

The big finale for the year will be a photography contest that will start on Dec. 10. The theme is “Santa’s Little Helpers,” and the contest is sponsored by Farm Boy Apparel. We are looking for photographs of your kiddos in action on the ranch -- helping feed cattle, riding horses, showing their 4-H projects, or maybe even decorating sugar cookies or building a snowman -- the sky is the limit. Get creative and start snapping photos to send my way! Our top two photographers will take home $100 Farm Boy gift certificates and three voters will win Farm Boy hats.

Also, check our Facebook and Twitter accounts often, as we will have plenty of prizes to give away as Christmas draws closer. It’s going to be a lot of fun, and you aren’t going to want to miss a second of it.
