About the group: "Everyone has a story to tell. America's ranchers and farmers have a great one. Whether it is our hard work, resilience, sense of community, or passion to keep improving upon our skills, someone is listening. So go ahead, share the story of why you are proud to be a part of agriculture." -Ryan Goodman
The aim of this group is to create an agriculture journal that will provide insights into the lives of food producers with those outside of agriculture. Goodman said he wants it to be an online network that focuses on the positive stories in farming and ranching, instead of the political battles we currently face.
As the sun sets on the calves in the pasture at the end of the day, my pride in agriculture overwhelms me. There is nothing better than going to bed at night after a hard day of work on the ranch. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a first-calf heifer mother her new baby, or watching EPDs skyrocket on a herd bull. There is no greater calling in life than caring for the land and the livestock. And, there is nowhere I would rather be than working alongside the family that I love. That's why I'm agriculture proud! Why are you?
