Of course, if you are in the beef cattle industry, that means the job keeps you busy 365 days in the year. So, even if you aren't getting a day off to enjoy, it's still important to recognize and celebrate the hard working, dedicated farmers and ranchers who are committed to producing a safe, wholesome and affordable food source to put at the center of the dinner table. I found a really great video on MSN that I think you should check out. It gives the history of this holiday and remembers the folks that worked hard in our nation's modest beginnings.
Again, thanks to all of you for your hard work and dedication. It's a privilege being able to work with you in this great industry. Take the time today to celebrate your great achievements and recognize the hard working folks you work alongside with every single day. Happy Labor Day from BEEF Daily!
