Christmas On The Ranch Photo Finalists Announced, PLUS Two Art Print Winners

It’s time to vote for your favorite “Christmas on the Ranch” photos!

Christmas is just over a week away, and I’m sure many of you are busy buying and wrapping last minute presents, baking up holiday goodies to take to family gatherings and getting extra work done so you can enjoy the day without having to be outside all day. We’ve been busy around here, too, with our December “Christmas on the Ranch” photo contest.

It was so fun browsing through the reader-submitted entries of cattle, horses, kids, families, dogs and lots of snow. The pictures really set the mood for the holiday season.

You can view the complete photo gallery here.

As promised, today we will announce our finalists in the contest. In no particular order, here are our top 10 photographers: Lindsay Murdock, Alisha Nord, Shari Holloway, Whitney Klasna, Kelli Brown, Mark Warren, Miles Kuschel, Lynsey Frey, Kathy Collins, and Bailey Core.

Now it’s your turn to select our champions. To vote, simply click on the finalists' gallery, and select your favorite in the comments section. The photos are numbered 1-10, or simply leave the photographer’s name or photo title in the comments section.

The champion photographer will take home a $150 cash prize, while reserve champion will earn $75. Five voters will also take home BEEF hats.

We are also giving away western art prints to two randomly selected readers who entered our contest. Congratulations to Lisa Kirscher and Mike Fruechte.

Voting for our champions will be open until noon on Dec. 21. Our winners will be announced on Dec. 23, just in time for Christmas! Good luck and thanks for participating!
