3 Beef Recipe Ideas To Spice Up Your Christmas Dinner Table

RSS

This beef commercial features three recipes that are perfect for the holidays.

Yesterday we talked about the healthfulness of animal products in the diet. Today I want to talk about how good it tastes. The holiday season is a perfect time to add beef to the dinner table, whether it’s meatballs, beef appetizers or prime rib roast.

Since it’s Christmas Eve and many of you may be running to the grocery store to stock up on last-minute ingredients for your holiday meals tomorrow, I thought I would share a few of my favorite beef recipes for some inspiration. Maybe it will add some new pizzazz to your traditional holiday fare.

You may remember that last year I teamed up with the South Dakota Cattlemen’s Auxiliary and the South Dakota Beef Industry Council to put together a holiday beef commercial featuring three recipes from beefitswhatsfordinner.com. I’m excited that the commercial is running again this year in South Dakota. If you catch it on TV, let me know what you think!

The recipes in the commercial include mini meatball appetizers with apricot dipping sauce, peppered ribeye roast with roasted garlic sauce, and beef pinwheels.

You can view all three recipes and add them to your holiday party menus here.

The commercial was filmed at my mom’s house, and I think it captured the holiday spirit and all of the yummy food that goes with it very well.

You can watch the commercial here.

You can also see behind-the-scenes photos from the day of filming here.

Christmas has a tendency to come and go so fast, and I hope you all remember the reason for the season, and take some time to enjoy your loved ones and reflect on life’s many blessings. From my ranch to yours, Merry Christmas!

Be sure to check back tomorrow to see who won our “Christmas On The Ranch” photo contest! Also, five randomly selected voters will take home BEEF hats. If you haven’t voted yet, there’s still time. Click here to vote.
