- "Considerations for Successful Deworming" by Thomas Yazwinski, University of Arkansas.
- "Developing a Sound Mineral Program" by John Arthington, University of Florida.
- "Managing Buy-Sell Margins for Feeder Cattle" by Emmit Rawls, University of Tennessee.
- "Economic Grazing Programs for Stockers" by Don Ball, Auburn University.
- Producer Panel that includes Tim Tucker, Monroe, AL; and Clay Kennemer, Hollywood, AL.

The conference begins at 8 a.m. Aug. 19 and ends at 4:45 p.m. for a tour of new backgrounding research facility at E.V. Smith Research Center.
