BEEF Weekly Markets provides national and regional cattle price reports and perspective for calves, feeders, fed cattle and carcasses. The weekly outlook also includes a perspective on cull cow and bull prices. In the regional section you will find regional and state cattle price information, including calf and feeder prices, as well as a perspective on slaughter cow and bull prices. Price information is based primarily upon USDA data from the previous week, as well as some private auction market reports.

Excessive cattle feeding capacity chasing a smaller inventory continues to prop up a higher price floor beneath calves than would have occurred otherwise with increasing feed prices. That same dynamic plus seasonal trends continues to buoy yearling prices.
