Simplify recordkeeping
A new Allflex online tool downloads tag numbers automatically and imports them into existing electronic recordkeeping systems, thus eliminating manual entry. After purchasing bags of either half- or full-duplex electronic ID tags, use the special bag ID number located on the package. A file is generated containing all the tag numbers in that package.

Waterproof handheld reader
I.D.ology introduces the waterproof Lightning-ROD wireless reader that reads and transmits radio-frequency ID (RFID) tag information. To access the tagged animal's data, pass the reader 1 ft. from the tag. The reader handle vibrates to signify a successful read, and transmits the data via a Bluetooth wireless network to a handheld PDA or nearby laptop computer. The LightningROD also reads ISO-compliant RFID tags.
