Prowler HDX 700i
Arctic Cat’s Prowler 700i boasts new features for 2012 that include electronic fuel injection; Advantage Timber Camo, Tungsten Metallic or Dark Green Metallic painted bodywork; 14-in. aluminum wheels; and ROPS-certified round tube canopy.
The unit’s 85-in. wheelbase boasts a 1,500-lb. payload; and the 2-in-1 cargo box design, with 1,000-lb. box capacity and multiple tie-down options, is a hauler’s dream, Arctic Cat says. The cab 40/20/40 seat delivers comfort for three occupants, and the dashboard houses a fresh digital gauge package with an all-new dash-mounted shifter. Variable-assist electronic power steering and a five-position tilt steering column enhance handling, while the fully independent, double-A-arm front and rear design boasts 10 in. of suspension travel and ground clearance.

All-New Grizzly 300
Yamaha’s Grizzly 300 2WD utility ATV combines best-in-class technology with a value price at $4,099. It’s powered by a 287-cc single overhead cam, four-stroke engine – with liquid cooling providing precise temperature control and long life even in extreme environments.
At the center of its lightweight and durable chassis is a power plant, with a 32-mm carburetor that delivers smooth power. The durable engine and dual-range transmission offers Hi range for light duty and trail riding, plus Low range for tougher chores and towing. Towing capacity is 500 lbs., plus a combined 140 lbs. on the front and rear racks. It features separate hydraulic front and rear disc brakes and 22-in. Versatile side by side
Yamaha’s Rhino 700 FI Side-by-Side (SxS) is a versatile off-road option for chores and transportation. Assembled in Newnan, GA, the Rhino 700 FI has a 686-cc, liquid-cooled, four-valve SOHC engine with plenty of torque. The assisted dump bed is rated to carry 400 lbs., while the standard 2-in. receiver can haul an additional 1,200 lbs. of feed and tools.
Fuel injection offers performance and dependability in any condition, especially at high elevation and in cooler conditions. Gator XUV line expanded
John Deere expands its lineup of Gator™ Crossover Utility Vehicles (XUV) with the introduction of its Gator™ Mid-Duty XUV 550 and 550 S4. The units boast off-road performance, improved comfort, cargo versatility, and the ability to transport up to four people across the most challenging landscapes.
Featuring best-in-class, fully independent, double-wishbone suspension, the units provide 9 in. of wheel travel, and up to 10.5 in. of ground clearance. The Gator XUV 550 and 550 S4 deliver mid-duty work capability with a top speed of 28 mph and 4-wheel drive. The 16-hp, 570-cc, air-cooled, v-twin gas engine provides speed and horsepower, while the cargo box can carry up to 400 lbs. of gear. In addition, the 550 is small enough to fit in the bed of a standard pick-up truck.
The 550 offers either standard high-back bucket seats or bench seats, while the 550 S4 comes standard with two rows of bench seats. For cargo versatility, the 550 S4’s rear seat can also flip down to provide more cargo space.

Assembled in the USA
Yamaha’s top-selling ATVs – the Grizzly 700 FI 4x4 and Grizzly 550 FI 4x4 – feature design and performance upgrades to solidify their place as the most off-road capable and durable in their classes, the company says. Also new for 2012, both machines are now assembled in the U.S. out of Yamaha’s Newnan, GA, factory.
The 2012 Grizzly 700 and 550 feature new textured plastic body panels to increase durability and decrease wear, while Maxxis tires boast a tough, aggressive tread pattern. The updated suspension includes gas-charged rear shocks with a high-quality damping feel and improved bump absorption performance. The front suspension has also been updated and optimized to match the rear.
Industry-leading electric power steering provides more comfort and reduces fatigue, while the Ultramatic™ automatic transmission reduces belt wear and delivers all-wheel engine braking. The three-way On-Command® system features push-button 2WD, 4WD, and 4WD with differential lock.
Meanwhile, fuel injection improves throttle response throughout the powerband, helping the rider take advantage of the Grizzly’s low- to mid-range power. Both the 700 and 550 can carry 99 lbs. and 187 lbs., respectively, on the front and rear racks, while towing more than 1,300 lbs.
An open gate shifter on the handlebars’ left side allows easy switching between gears. And the multifunction LCD display offers dual trip meter, speedometer, hour meter, odometer and clock, in addition to the gear selection, fuel level indicator, On-Command™ indicator and EPS and fuel-injection indicator lights.

Bobcat 3400 UTV
The Bobcat 3400 utility vehicle provides increased payloads, acceleration and a top speed of 30 mph, making quick work of transporting people and tools to each task around the farm. Available with either 32-hp gas, or 24.8-hp diesel, engine, the unit’s four-wheel drive and a four-wheel independent suspension provide a smooth ride and improved agility over rough terrain.

Kubota RTV 400Ci
Kubota’s gas-powered RTV400Ci utility vehicle features the agility and reliability of a mid-sized utility vehicle, but is compact enough to fit in the bed of a full-size, long-bed pickup truck. At 54.7 in. wide and 72 in. tall, the four-wheel-drive unit boasts a fuel-injected 6-hp, air-cooled, single-cylinder gas engine with a maximum speed of 25 mph.
The RTV400Ci features a Continuously Variable Transmission with inertial clutch (CVT Plus) for excellent response and reliability, while providing dynamic braking to help maintain control during descents with engine-assisted deceleration.
