A Nutrition Business Journal survey conducted for the Organic Trade Association (OTA) found organic meat sales grew 55% in 2005. Organic sales reached the $14-billion sales mark and now represent 2.5% of all retail food sales. OTA estimates sales will reach $16 billion in 2006. -- Troy Marshall
